So, let me paint a picture for you, it's 12:49 AM on Saturday morning, I'm still wide awake sitting here on this lounge- next to the clean underwear and night clothes my mum threw at me before going to sleep...

I'm thinking you can see the similarities between this post and my last one, even though that one was quite a while ago. Like, for example, the fact that I'm still awake at this ungodly hour- or maybe the fact that I was drinking red cordial too???

Ha-ha. I actually do have a purpose of writing this, I'm just not very good at conveying my thoughts (It always sounds better in my head).

I've noticed that blog writing always becomes more natural to me around the time that my assignments are due . Coincidence? I think not!

Anyway, I do believe I was actually going to say something about DA in this blog!
I thought I'd comment on my page's 'blankness'- for want of better word.

Ok, so, two things:

A) My work: basically, I'm not writing anything at the moment (besides blogs ha-ha), I'm taking writing classes at the moment, because, well, my technique is really flawed, and I'm not posting my old stuff because it's like not up to scratch- not even close! But I do have ideas, so never fear

And B) my favourites: At the moment it's looking like I'm some 'foaming-at-the-mouth' The Academy Is... fan. That's because at the moment I kind of am!

But, no. I kind of really like sketches of people I've seen, because it's something that I know about, easier to define as what is good or not. Whereas, photography and other art forms are harder to weigh up. Sure, you can say: oh, what a pretty photo!

But, why is that photo "pretty", what makes it better than blah, blah's photo???

I don't know, maybe I sound really dumb, but I am just a novice around here!
I just see photography like poetry is all. I mean, how do you judge poetry? It's all just someone's perceptions of the world through an unusual medium. It's like literally looking at the world through someone else's eyes.

That's pretty damn cool, something that can't be judged at face-value.

So, yeah. I love other people's photography, I love writing, but I'll show you my world/ and opinions, when I'm ready.

For now lets stick to brilliant drawings for my favourites lol

Ha-ha. I'm pretty much talking shit again- aren't I?

Well, to bed it is for me, I've got so much Nature/nurture theory to go through tomorrow!
